Babs is a versatile, colorful artist and producer from Leiden, who combines socially relevant and current rap lyrics with danceable pop beats in her self-produced music.

Her first EP release "Ruimtevrees" came out during the pandemic in 2021. Since then, we have seen her at Noorderslag, the Song of the Year festival with her nominated song "Bennie Boos", and recently on the popular TV show "Wie is de Mol?".

Her energetic, dynamic live show has been featured at events such as Paaspop, Dauwpop, and the Zwarte Cross, and she has done two successful club tours with sold-out shows throughout the Netherlands. With a tight live band that includes, among others, her twin brother as a keyboardist and MC, she gets us dancing with her exuberance while also confronting us with her personal and vulnerable lyrics.
