Zomerparkfeest always seeks a balance between established names and innovation. Acts like Kaizers Orchestra, Infadels, and Paolo Nutini have provided legendary performances in the park before they broke through internationally. Zomerparkfeest was also the first festival in the region to program new dance genres like minimal and dubstep. Additionally, it is a family festival with a youth program, a picnic afternoon, and a special senior citizens' afternoon.
